Local companies affected by Covid-19 can now apply to the Scottish Government’s Coronavirus Business Support Fund for the Scottish Borders, which opened for applications on Tuesday.

The local authority is administering the one-off grants to successful applicants and has added the application form to its social care and health page on its website: www.scotborders.gov.uk

Eligible businesses have until next Tuesday, March 31, to apply and Scottish Borders Council will aim to make payments within 10 working days from receipt of a fully-completed application.

A helpline for Scottish businesses concerned about the impact of Covid-19 has also been set up. You can call 0300 303 0660, weekdays between 8.30am and 5.30pm.
